Postpartum doula services are $25.00 - $35.00 per hour. Because I am a homeschooling mother of five, my postpartum services are limited. Please call to find out available days/times for my services. I can help you out for a few hours a day, to give you a break (Trust me, sleep can be a fleeting and precious thing with a new baby!) and I can help you with daily tasks around the house, run errands, or give you a hand establishing breastfeeding and learning baby care. I do not charge for phone consultations or for the postpartum visit for my Labour Doula clients. If I can not help you with your postpartum needs, I will do my best to help you find another postpartum doula who can.

Jennifer McFarland is a former Medical Assistant and Emergency Room Medical Technician.Jennifer is certified as a labor and birth doula through Childbirth International. She is certified in neonatal resuscitation and is a student midwife through Ancient Art Of Midwifery Institute (http://www.ancientartmidwifery.com/). She also studied for two years under Joanne Dozor, CPM, RN at her school in Media, PA, taking her Art Of Midwifery I course and Art of Midwifery II. In 2004 Jennifer completed a Midwifery Internship in Senegal, Africa, where she assisted as a secondary midwife at births. Jennifer is a Certified Happiest Baby on the Block Instructor as of June 23, 2005 and offers classes in this wonderful baby calming technique. Jennifer also offeres traditional childbirth courses, iCare Pregnancy courses, and Imagery Birthing Childbirth Courses (she is a Certified Imagery Birthing Instructor).

Jennifer is a member of Citzens For Midwifery, Childbirth International, and is a Trust Birth Initiative Trained leader, holding monthly meetings in her home.
